3. My jewelry practice draws from familiar shapes that feel good to touch, re-imagining rings as tactile weighted objects that invite the you to play. 
   
   
4. Pieces are individually carved out of wax and cast in solid metal (such as sterling silver, brass, or gold) using a process called lost-wax casting. In this method, the original wax sculpture is encased in a plaster mold. When heated, the wax melts away *lost*, leaving behind a cavity that is then filled with molten metal. After casting, each piece is carefully cleaned and polished by hand.
